George/Greene Habitat for Humanity is able to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing to those in need because of generous financial support from businesses and individuals. Working together we can overcome substandard housing in George and Greene Counties. We are an equal opportunity lender of interest-free home loans. We make the construction happen for each home. By making a donation, you join us in giving a hand up – not a hand out. Examples of how your dollars can help:
$25 – electrical outlets for a room
$50 – a big box of nails
$125 – a window
$250 – a water heater
$350 – a bathtub or shower
$600 – insulation for attic or walls
$1500 – a foundation slab
$2000 – roofing for an entire house
$3000 – a heating and air conditioning system
$4500 – plumbing system for an entire house
$6000 – a wall framing lumber kit
